The PCE-BTM 2000A is an optical belt tension meter for quickly checking the tension and natural frequency of stationary drive belts.

A light impulse sets the belt vibrating and the flexible gooseneck sensor detects its frequency. By entering belt length and mass, the meter can calculate the actual tension force in newtons or pounds-force, including in restricted or difficult-to-reach locations.
